TradeA EU OÜ, trading as Zen Auto Import, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We operate from the Netherlands and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

- Enquiry details: vehicle preferences, budget, intended use
- Business information: company name, VAT number (if applicable)

- To manage your import contract and keep you updated on your vehicle
- To comply with customs, tax, and company law obligations

- Contract performance: processing necessary to fulfil your import order
- Legal obligation: customs declarations, tax records, anti-money laundering checks

We share your data only as necessary:
- Japanese auction houses and dealers (to facilitate purchase)
- Shipping and freight companies
- EU customs brokers
- Vehicle registration authorities (RDW, KBA, CEPiK) where applicable
- Our accounting and legal advisors (bound by confidentiality)
We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain client data for 7 years after the completion of services, as required by Dutch and EU tax law. Enquiry data from non-clients is deleted after 12 months if no contract is formed.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority) (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) at www.aki.ee.
8. International Transfers
Some data is transferred to Japan as necessary to facilitate vehicle purchase. These transfers are made under appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses.
